ABSOLUTE MINIMUM: (more is recommended for change/future needs)
System drive:
| Space | Application | Notes |
| 1 x RAM | Windows memory dump | + size of page file? |
| 3 x RAM | Page file | |
| 500MB minimum | Documents and Settings | |
| 10GB | Free space | More preferred |
Data drive:
| Space Required | Application | Notes |
| 2GB | Trend CSM for SMB | |
| 1.6GB | Program Files folder | (on an SBS server with no additional apps) |
| 5.1GB | Windows folder | |
| 1GB x number of users | Exchange Database | Enforce 1GB mailboxes, on SBS with 75 user limit, ties in nicely with 75GB store limit in Exchange 2003 |
| 1 x size of Exchange Database | Free space required for Exchange database maintenance | |
| Exchange database log files | ||
| Exchange message tracking logs |
Totals
For an SBS server with 4GB RAM = 31.3GB minimum. Double that to be safe.
User Data
Users Shared Folders - estimated 1GB x number of users
