By default you can't change your password through OWA. Follow these steps to set it up:

  1. In IIS Admin console, go to Default Website and add a new Virtual Directory called Iisadmpwd, setting the content directory to %Systemroot%\System32\Inetsrv\Iisadmpwd
  2. Grant the following permissions: Read, Run Scripts and Execute permissions
  3. Also go into Directory Security for Iisadmpwd and remove any IP address restrictions
  4. In regedit, create a DWORD called DisablePassword, set to 0, in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeWEB\OWA
  5. Restart IIS (type iisreset)
